However bad the circumstances were, I feel that mothers should ALWAYS be there for their flesh and blood, regardless of their own pain. It saddens me no end that these mothers do not realise how fortunate they are that their sons and daughters want to know them. Many mothers I know would give their right arm (and more) to have their sons and daughters back in their lives. If it is any consolation, here is one mother who is glad that you have been part of her life - it is your voice that helps the many to stop being afraid of looking.
