Deposit Coins Here

So, I recently found out that the agency has been sending out requests for donations to the adoptees who have had them search. Donation requests, can you believe it? They take our money and give us tidbits, treat us like second class citizens and then ask for donations???? :gasp:
Next week should be very interesting.

Dear Son, now, now,—be your sweet self when you see the aforementioned agency representatives-They are not sending out donation requests-the agency is doing it. Go onto http://www.chsfl.org,and check out their budget. As distasteful as it is to us, they want to raise money for their other projects. We also got requests for donations in WPB,so far, they haven’t sent anything in Jacksonville.Since it was non-productve;we’ve probably been purged from their donor list. Now, to a happier topic–what is your schedule for your time in Florida? What are you” allowed ” to eat?,etc.,etc. LOVE,MOM

Especially when you see who is contributing to them. Groups like PGA donating over $100,000 and Wendy’s in the $50,000 to $99,000 range. Even some local cities although I can’t think that a city would have a budget surplus to be able to donate $10,000.

Either way, it seems like they would leave the searching adoptees off the list since we already paid our donation.

Ha, my mom got caught in my spam filter. Sorry mom. My time is short is what it is.

Maybe they are buying into thier own myth that adopted people are so grateful that they were saved from thier “crackwhore” birthmothers and they are trying to cash in on the indebtedness that one is suppose to feel.

I hope you are having a great time in Florida right now! As for the donations? Yuck pretty much covers it.

been a while since i was here. when i did my search, the lady who directed me asked for a $25 fee. and that was it. it took roughly 6 months of her giving me assistance, and me doing the leg work to find my bio family. the organization i used was called “Parent Finders” . perhaps that might be available to you there in the US.
