Hope again,
You know there are days were I feel my chest is going to burst and days I am comfortably numb. Then there are days like today where the story of a 75 year old guy who finds his other family brings hope to my heart.

I love reading your posts on adoption on your website! I am an adoptee who searched and found my birth sisters about 12 years ago (my birth parents were deceased by the time I found) I was born in the closed adoption system (1955) I was fortunate to be adopted into a loving family. I have served in volunteer “adoption ministry” almost full time during the past 15 years. I have lead local adoption triad support groups currently in Chicagoland suburbs of IL. and formerly in Indianapolis, IN. Its wonderful to meet with fellow adoptees and share our stories and common threads of experience!
I host a couple online groups “Christian Adoptee Fellowship” on adoption.com under Faith Based Forums, an open group. I also host Adoptees Christian Fellowship on Yahoo Clubs- a private group by invitation only.
I am Editor of Adoption Blessings Journal - a 20 page free outreach Christian publication sharing stories, poems, articles, book reviews by adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents- 9 issues have been published by the journal is in limbo right now due to rising printing and postage costs. http://www.adoptionblessingsjournal.com
My newest adventure is my Adoptees Blog called
Adoptees’ Cafe- Devotions for Adopted Persons
http://www.adopteescafe.blogspot.com
Thanks for sharing your adoptee journey on the web! God’s blessings in your continued adoption journey!
