A years time
About a year ago, I requested Kinsolving to start searching for me. I got a note from Kinsolving today:
We have worked on your search and to date have not been able to locate for you. We feel that it would be in your best interest at this time to hire someone else that perhaps can do more then we can to help you locate.
All searchers use different sources and we encourage you to continue in your efforts to find.
We sincerely wish that we would have been able to solve your search.
Please consider this formal cancellation of your contract with Kinsolving Investigations.
I was really hoping they would be able to come thru on my search. I personally know two people that they have reunited and know a few more online who they have helped so I know they are good. Just makes me that much more worried that it won’t work out. At leat with them, I didn’t have to put any money out there so nothing lost but a little bit of hope. Then again, I guess that is a pretty heavy price.
Ecclesiastes 3
1. There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
and
6. a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
Funny the verses you find when you aren’t really looking. Granted, the fact that I had the whole thing highlited helped, but I wonder what time it is for me?

Time isn’t always what it seems to be. Scripture mentions also, the “fulness” of time, “seasons” of time, the “appointed” time.
I used Kinsolving Investigations back several years ago, they were good, true to their word.
Hope you’ve had a good week.

That’s true. I am still hopeful, but a bit depressed. I have always heard good things about Kinsolving and was really hoping they could come thru on this one, but I guess we dont get everything.

I have emailed you privately about this issue. Hang in there Dan. Maybe this verse is trying to say to never give up, just take a well deserved break if you need it. I can see that in these words too.

This is the verse that kept me going during the search for Jeff’s family. When I was ready to give up, I would read this verse. Hang in there Wraith. I know it will happen for you.

Dan,
I can’t find your e-mail. Could you e-mail me @ [removed for security]. There’s something I would like to e-mail you about privately.
Thanks,
Sue

I would like to start out by letting you know that I am sorry your story is missing a “happy ending”. I hired Kinsolving as well. It has been about seven weeks now. I am still waiting… I believe that they have a high percentage of positive results, and I check e-mails daily hoping for a response. I would love to know your story if you would like to share it. I guess you have to belive that there is a reason for everything, but that does not take away from the disappointment we feel.
Take care.
Cindy

I just signed on with Kinsolving and have high hopes for success. After reading about your dissappoinment, I jsut want to say that you ARE NOT ALONE and never give up hope. I am part of an awesome online group for NY adoption triad individuals, but there are many from other states as well. They are a great support group, can offer advice, and several are search angels who may have ideas for your next step. NYADOPTION@NXPORT.COM Try emailing your story and see what help you might get. Best of luck in the future!
