Just the other day I listened as a celebrity stated, "I want to adopt kids before I have kids OF MY OWN." I hear this all the time and it really bothers me. I enjoy your blog, BTW.

I can totally see what you are saying. The more they can separate us, the more they win.

In terms of the adoptees media prop, I think that if they can blame it on the adoptee, rather than on society (where the real blame belongs) then they are scap goating their own responsibility. After all, media certainly plays a strong role in controlling the masses.

I wholeheartedly agree. I hear "Don't segregate!" but that certainly doesn't coincide with wanting to be called something unique.
Segregation by definition is to set apart from the general mass. You can't have it both ways, equal treatment or being treated differently, which way do you want it?
This is particularly true among our respective group. We want equal treatment regarding open records but I hear a lot of people making their arguement for open records based on the wounded child, separation disfunction thing. blah blah blah
Now how are we to be treated equally if we keep making our case based on our "special needs"???
I'm really sick of the whole Primal Wound thing can you tell?
