I use the word validating a lot but when you go through this stuff it is so important to know that other people out there GET IT!!!! And that video.......there just are no words. I was so glad his mother was receptive. I totally celebrated the fact that he found a mother with sincerity, compassion and love. They are blessed and they know it, as it should be. How cool. I'm not an adoptee but have always been a hip hop fan and drawn more to the show for that rather then the adoption story. However, as I watched I was drawn in, watching the great figures of hip hop be vulnerable, going to therapy, dealing with his life being turned upside down- it was moving.
