It is one of the things I regret not having from mine. Wraith, does Florida allow adoptive parents to request a copy of the adoption decree? In Illinois, adoptive parents can request this document (but I as the adoptee cannot - how fair is THAT?). Apparently, the decree sometimes contains the names of birthparents or the child's original name.
